Clarence Headrick, 79, Danville, IN died Oct. 3, 1982 at the Hendricks County Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was retired from Stockley-Van Camp after 39 years with the company. He was a member of the New Winchester Baptist Church, a member of the Groveland Masonic Lodge No. 542, and the Groveland Order of the Eastern Star No. 330.
Born in Monroe County, Nov. 30, 1902, he was the son of the late Joseph Clarence and Orpha Bowman Headrick and the husband of Eva Bates Headrick, who survives.
Other than his wife, he is survived by four sons - Joseph Headrick, Danville, IN; Albert Headrick, Lizton, IN; Norman Headrick, Noblesville, IN; Kenneth Headrick, Munice, IN; one sister, Norene Hammer of Tompkinsville; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A son, Robert, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baker Funeral Home in Danville, Tuesday afternoon, October 5, with Rev. Raymond Rissler officiating. Burial was in the Danville South Cemetery.
