William Punderson GLAISBY b.1847 York, died before 1901 Census of same. He married Mary ANDERSON ,( daughter of Robert ANDERSON and Charlotte WILLIAMS) 1 January 1878 St Martins, Coney St. York. He was a Portrait photographer with his own studio in York. He was the son of John and Sarah (maiden name unknown) GLAISBY, his birth was registered in December quarter of 1847, Vol 23, page 607.
In the 1871 Census, he was living in the parish of Holy Trinity, Micklegate, York living with his parents. his father was a bookseller, and stationer. In the 1891 Census, he was living with his wife at 9 South Parade in parish of Holy Trinity, Micklegate, York. Their children were Mary Kathleen GLAISBY b. 17 March 1789, and Leonard ANDERSON GLAISBY b.7 August 1882, both children Christened at Holy Trinity, Micklegate, York. In 1901 Census, Leonard was 18 years of age, a Dental student, living in York. In 1901 Census, Mary Kathleen was living in York with her mother, William Punderson GLAISBY the father was nowhere on the scene, probably dead.
What happened to Leonard and Mary Kathleen. I have info to share on their mother, who is my family.
