Norma-- I take it that you're the one married to Thomas Dwyer, mother of Gerald Dwyer. Any more folks on your "branch"?
I've posted on Ancestry Family Trees the "Durgee LTD" family line containing everybody born before 1900. Still wondering about what happened to Amos Gay and his wife Mary C. (Durgee) Gay, who were both listed in the 1860 federal census but both disappeared before the 1865 census. If I lived anywhere near upstate NY I'd head to the Oswego County will/estate records and land transactions, but I'm 2500 miles away in Washington State just 60 miles from the Pacific Ocean!
