The Peter Galloway who moved to Missouri resided there for about nine years (according to his application for pension which was denied). He then moved to Indiana about 1830. His wife was Phoebe Smith who died in 1828 in Missouri. They had nine known children: Samuel, Alexander, James, John, William, Sarah, Mary, Marguerite, and Nancy. Peter and his siblings were very involved in the Associated Reformed Presbyterian church and he was involved in the establishment of the congregation at Auburn, MO. After moving to Indiana, he and his children maintained long ties with the church as founding members. He died in Carroll County, Indiana and is buried at Seceder Cemetery. Happy to provide additional information if it would be helpful.
