Felker family

Hi Nancy, one thing I do know, some of the Felker men, just get up and take off, that's what makes them so hard to follow. 3 of my dad's brothers did the same thing, and it seems so hard to find them. When and if we do find them, their families don't know much, if anything at all. One person was shocked to know that her great-grandfather had another family here in PA.

Several years ago, a young man from Texas got in touch with me, looking for anything at all, I sent him several photo's and he called me to tell me he got them the day they buried his father, so he showed the photo's to the relatives at the funeral, he said one of his uncles got very excited, because he said his grandfather had the very same picture on his fireplace, but would never tell anyone who they where and if they had been related.

This young man died right after his father, and I've never heard another thing from his family.

I also know my great-grandfather had a brother Jacob born about 1836, served in the Civil war, and was never heard of again. And of course there are others, who just seemed to have disappered off the face of the earth. So I'm really not of much help to you.
