My grandparents came from the very small town of Mammola located in Reggio Calabria. We found cousins in this small town a few years ago when we decided to take a visit to Italy.
My Grandfather-Salvatore (Chianetta) Fazzolari,(died in Portland in 1970) Chianetta being the "nickname" for our family of Fazzolari's. We had nicknames because there were so many Fazzolari's in the town of Mammola that were not related. If you are a "Chianetta" then you are related to us here in Oregon.
My Grandmother was-Mary Agostino Sistini, (died in Portland in 1939)she also came from the small town of Mammola.
My Great-Grandmother was-Rosa Agostino (died in Portland in 1968) she was also from Mammola.
My Grandparents had 5 sons and 1 daughter.
Jimmy Fazzolari (deceased)(children, Karen, Steve, Valerie)
Joe Fazzolari (deceased)(children, Joe)
Tony Fazzolari-82 years (children, Terry, Judy, Sue, Tammy)

My Grandfather had a brother that moved to France after World War II. He had two sons. We have never been able to find them. They too probably have grandchildren around the ages of 40-60 years of age as we are.
