Pastor Elder Henry Fambro Jr. age 79 departed this life Saturday September 11, 2010.

He was a native of Clanton, Alabama. He had resided in the Ohio area many years.

A former employee of Tower Metals, Commercial Metals of Dayton, OH and Staker Alloy. Elder Fambro was appointed as Pastor of New Covenant Temple Church of God In Christ in 1996. He also served as Chairman of the Ohio North Jurisdiction.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Mother Lillie Bell Fambro; son Patrick Henry, grandson, Magnum Fields, four brothers and a sister.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Patricia (Pierre) Ann Wright, son Paul Daryl Fambro; 6 grandchildren Virgil "Monty" McWhorter, Henry 'Marty" McWhorter, Shamicka King, Malcolm "George" Fields, Paul D. Fambro II and Mason "Pete" Fields, 6 great-grandchildren Allie, Tyla, Kevin, KeJuan, Keveon and Amorie, ; 2 sisters, Meridean Smith and Fay Butler, both of Detroit, MI; uplifting congregation from the New Covenant Temple Church of God in Christ along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.

Elder Fambro will lie in state 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at New Covenant Temple Church of God in Christ, 1757 Clay St.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., at Restored Life Ministries, 1117 Innisfallen Ave. Rev. Larry Coleman, Pastor.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until time of services which will commence at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Edward T. Cook, eulogist.

Interment will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010.
