Delayed answer. Found this in my notes. It came fron a Deborah Unger in Michigan last year.

It prompted me to call my sister, who advised me to call my dad's one living sister, who is 83. She didn't have birthdates, but I can get most of them from the cemeteries. Apparently, the grandparents on both sides of my dad's family were dead when my aunt was born, and she does not know much about them except that their grandfather came from Bavaria.
Edward Grover Cleveland Falkenstein and Agnes Stasny (who was from Bohemia) had six children:
Gladys (married name: Altmeyer)
Edward John, born Feb. 14, 1909 (married to Evelyn Zacher May 17, 1914)
Audrey (married name: Worchel)
Arthur (died in Florida)
Sorry I don't have more than that for now, but it's given me something to work on. Naturally, I wonder about the ancestry in Germany, too, and would like to visit one year soon.
I am the sixth of the seven live births for my dad and mom. The older of my two older sisters (both of whom I have copied to this email) was in Germany a few years ago and spoke of findings of Von Falkensteins and also the Falkenstein name listed twice among a list of bishops or archbishops dating back to the 1300s or 1400s, if I'm not mistaken, on a bronze plaque in a church . I will contact her for more information on that and share it with you.
