Surnames: Faherty, Mullen, Coyne.
I would love to make contact with any descendents of Stephen Faherty and Mary Mullen, both from Attirowerty, Letterfrack, Co. Galway who were married sometime in the 1860s. I'm particularly trying to trace two of their grandsons, my two granduncles.....Patrick and Michael Faherty, both of whom travelled to the states sometime after 1911. They would have been born in the 1890s in Attirowerty, Letterfrack, Co. Galway. Their father was John Faherty who died in 1902 aged 31. Their Mum was Annie Coyne (born in Rosleague, Letterfrack, Co. Galway). They had a sister, Bridget, who also emmigrated to the states and married George Begg and whose family I am in contact with. They had four other brothers...Stephen and John who died young here in Ireland, Anthony (my grandfather) and Martin, who lived his life in Ireland and whose family I am in regular contact with. My dad said there was never really any communication back from the uncles but has reason to believe that Patrick (Pat) died young from a fall off a ladder while working as a painter and decorator in New York. Michael appears to have enlisted in army training camp for a short while. It is the one section of my family tree which I can make no headway on which is such a pity as it is the section whose name I bear. If anyone can help me I would be so grateful,

Kindest regards,

Mary Faherty
