Hi! I'm trying to sort out three different Eagon lines in my tree.
My gg-grandmother was Celesta Eagon, b. 1861, d. 1941, daughter of Isaac Eagon and Rebecca Day. Celesta Eagon m. first Ambrose B. Danford, who was the father of her child Ambrose G. Danford. Her second husband was John H. Starr. Parents of Isaac Eagon appear to be James Eagon, b. 1791, d. 1846, and Margaret (Starr?). James and Margaret Eagon are buried in the Ankrom Cemetery, which is located on SR 147, Whiskey Run, Beaver Twp., Noble Co., OH. I am trying to identify the parents of James Eagon and his wife Margaret.
The second Eagon line I am working on is Mary Eagon, b. 1789, d. 1861, m. William Ankrom. I am trying to confirm that this Mary was in fact an Eagon. She was supposedly the daughter of Solomon Eagon and Mary Blackburn. William and Mary Ankrom are buried in the same cemtery mentioned above. They are my gggg-grandparents (1. William W. Ankrom, Sr. and Mary Eagon, 2. William W. Ankrom Jr. and Agnes Emma Cisne (Cessna), 3. William Hiley Ankrom and Emeretta Warehime, 4. Ambrose Garfield Danford and Della Viola Ankrom, 5. Virgil Earl Danford and Gladys Ruth Trott, 6. Larry D. Danford and Sandra K. Smith, 6. me).
The third Eagon line I am working on is Cassandra Eagon, b. 1765, d.1831, m. Samuel House. They are supposed to be buried in PA, and their daughter Cassandra House is my gggg-grandmother. Cassandra House, b. 1800, d. 1850, m. Amos Day, and the two of them are also buried in the Ankrom Cemetery, although I have not yet identified their graves.
As you can see, two separate Eagon lines that meet up in Celesta Eagon, through her father, Isaac Eagon, and her mother, Rebecca Day (1. Samuel House and Cassandra Eagon, 2. Amos Day and Cassandra House, 3. Isaac Eagon and Rebecca Day, 4. Ambrose B. Danford and Celesta Eagon ...). . I am interested in the parentage of Cassandra Eagon, m. Samuel House in PA.
Any information that you have on any of these three lines would be greatly appreciated!
