In Nov 2005, I received information from a Slovak researcher telling me that my Great-Great Grandfather's wife was Julia Dzubay born about 1834. Julia Dzubay married a Vincentius Andrejkovics and they had these children: Vincentius, b 1855; Adalbertus b 1856, d 1857; Maria b 1857 and Janos, my Great Grandfather, b 1859, in HRUBOV, d 1923 in Brestov. I know all the family down from Janos, who married Maria Kontuly 16 Aug 1886. They had three children: Anna b 1887 in Brestov, d 1967 in Queens, NY; John Stephen (My Grandfather) b 8 Dec 1889 in Brestov/Humenne, d 19 Mar 1966 in Lake Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County, NY and Maria b 1897 in Brestov, d 1993 in Queens, NY.

When, Maria Kontuly died, about 1900-1901, Janos Andrejkovics married, her friend, Alzbeta Piskaninova and had three more children: Paul John, b 1903 in Brestov, d 1973 in Glens Falls, NY; Michal b in Brestov 1904, d 1973 in Brestov; Anna b 1906 in Brestov, d 1995 in Brestov. It is the family of Janos and Alzbeta, who still live in Brestov today.

Also, Janos, reportedly had a younger brother, who went to Majoros-near Snina (Szinna), Majerovce to have his family.

Did the known Martin Andrejkovics(from previous posts on this site) ever live in Majerovce? This info is from the current family living in Brestov. The Slovak researcher did not mention a younger brother, but maybe he stopped looking after finding my Great Grandfather Janos in 1859. This brother was born about 1865 in Pakostov, supposedly?
