My cousin Lois DeVeny married in 1951 after graduating from Purdue, along with her future husband. After this date nothing is known about her. Anyone have information?

Lt. James A. Dykes Weds Lois De Veny In Church Ceremony

Darlington - Miss Lois Jeanne DeVeny, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. DeVeny, of Castle Drive, Dayton, Ohio, was married April 11 in the Methodist Chapel at Neosho, Mo., to Lt. James Alfred Dykes, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Dykes, near Darlington.
The bride attended Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia and graduated from Purdue University, in the School of Science in June, 1950. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and was active in student affairs, particularly political science and debating.
The groom was also graduated with honors from Purdue university in the School of Civil Engineering and was listed in "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities." He was president of Chi Upsilon, president of Reamer club; a member of Tayu Beta Pi, honorary all engineering fraternity, and at graduation received an Honorary Fellowship in the American Society of Civil Engineers. At present he is assistant post engineer at Camp Crowder, Missouri, and is purchasing agent for all supplies for the camp.
Lt. and Mrs. James Dykes are at home at Spring Hill Apartments, Neosho, Mo.
