Help us solve the Durrett Mystery.

You ask - what IS the Durrett mystery? Who were the ??? the Durrett men who all lived in Virginia in the early 1700's that most ALL the Durrett's in America descend from. The mystery is HOW are they related? The Durrett’s were French Huguenots-Where did these men go after leaving France? Did they settle in England, Germany, Switzerland, Africa, the United States or parts unknown? We would like to learn where these men settled in the world? Won’t you please help by doing a DNA test?

Through DNA testing, we will be able to answer these questions and more. We have already proven through DNA testing that Francis who owned land in 1724 and Bartholomew who owned land in 1737, are related and both lived in Virginia. But that still leaves the other ?? Durrett’s and their descendants that are unknown. Were they father and son, brothers, cousins, etc., this still remains a mystery. By doing a DNA test you can help us solve it.

Maybe you don't KNOW which Durrett line you descend from, through time a DNA test may help solve the mystery and untangle your brick wall. Maybe you'll help answer the age-old question. There are some things we girls can't do, and one is reveal your father's DNA. The best part is the DNA test is simple, painless and bloodless; a cotton swab that looks like a toothbrush is used. We'll even assist those who can’t afford to pay for the test. How about that!!
