I am trying to track down relatives of James Dugdale and also his siblings, including John, William and Lawrence, who lived in the state of Victoria, Australia. Their parents were Lawrence Dugdale and Sarah Nicholson who came from Lancashire, England. James was married to Amy Grace Myers and they had 3 children - Evelyn Annie, Mabel Sarah and John Lawrence. I am hoping to find a copy of a letter James would have written, possibly in 1912. His brother Lawrence (my great grandfather) wrote a letter to one of his sisters describing a family reunion in England in 1912. It provides fascinating details about family members. Then the letter says "You might keep this letter as giving idea of Mamma’s relatives – as I am only writing to you : if you see John and Will you could see Jim’s letter about Dada’s relatives"
I am sure Jim's letter would also have some important insights into the family and would love to get a copy if one still exists. I have a transcript of Lawrence's letter and could send a copy to anyone interested.
