Page 190 of the Henry County, GA Register of Sales, Book C indicated the sale of personal property "plus negroes sold on first Tuesday October 1851:

Nancy and her two youngest children purchased by James Findley
Sam, a man sold to H. W. Farmer
George, a man sold to J. M. L. McElroy
Solomon, a man sold to Sid Duffey
Ann, a woman sold to Uriah Harkey
Green, a boy sold to J. W. Duffey
George, a boy sold to Uriah Harkey
Mariah, a girl, sold to James Findley

This book also listed the following four marriages of "Colored/Freedman" from 1837-1885:
