Harry Davenport NY

I am a direct descendent of Harry Davenport of Constable New York, b. 1836, d. 7 Jan 1865, whose father was John Culver Davenport, and whose son was John Chauncey Davenport. Old Harry was in the Civil War, and a park in Constable was dedicated in his honor by his widow, Josephine Chesbrough Davenport Maloney, who died around 1927. I have quite a few tintypes and pictures of this clan, all in good condition--but just no stories, particularly Harry's Civil War experience, and how he died. Can anyone help me? His name is not on census, and hard to verify on muster records--I'm not sure it's the same Harry. My father was a geneologist who also went by family stories, and said Harry died on 7 Jan 1865 serving his country in the Civil War or from illness related to his service. But the Harry I have on mil. record was discharged in July 1863 after being hospitalized in PA and in Harrison's Landing, VA, for unknown reasons for several months, then released. Please contact me at orchardmkt@freewwweb.com or call me at (410) 339-7700 with any info you might have, or if you are a descendent of any of these people. They lived in Constable New York, apparently in a house built by Dr. Bates and sold to John Culver Davenport (b. 1797), who was Harry's father, and Harry's children John Chauncey Davenport, also lived here.
