I have been trying to figure out the DONAHO family connections in the Old 96 District of Laurens and Edgefield Counties of South Carolina.

I have divided my info between John and Eleanor, William and Cornelius DONAHO found in the 1790 census on Mudlick Creek in Laurens County and John, Sarah, William DONAHO in Edgefield County.

I am interested in particular to the Loyalist DONAHO family.
John and William DONAHO in Edgefield County were Loyalists during the Revolutionary War.

John DONAHO, b. 1706-1781. Was hanged by the rebels. I have seen lists of Loyalists murdered, Thomas Fletchall papers list John as John "William" DONAHO, haven't yet been able to confirmed this.

William DONAHO of Edgefield County was a member of "Bloody" Bill Cunninghams Loyalist gang that reaked revenge in the Old 96 District after 1781.

I have been researching the Siege of 96, There are mentioned in some Loyalist units the DANIELS name and O'DANIELS family in the Edgefield County area?

Any help you can offer on the DONAHO family connections in this area would be appreciated. Is WILLIAM G.DONAHO recorded on the 1790 census with John and Cornelius? Thank you!
