Anthony M. Cusano, 75,
of South Greensburg,
died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011,
in Select Specialty Hospital of Latrobe.
Born June 15, 1935, in Greensburg, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Antonetta Spino Cusano. Prior to retirement, he was a baker for Schaller's Bakery, Greensburg. Tony was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church and was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Dominick, Joseph and infant Vincent Cusano; and two sisters, Angeline Simpson and Mary Kish. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sally A. Gardner Cusano; a son, William Cusano, of Greensburg; two daughters, Toni Boord and husband, Tom, of New Stanton, and Jody Cusano, of Unity; two grandchildren, Lucas Boord and Antonio Showman; three sisters, Carmella Palo, of California, Christine Dornauer, of Latrobe, and Connie McChesney and husband, Tom, of Crabtree; numerous nieces and nephews; and his very best friend, Anthony Falino, of Greensburg. There will be no public viewing. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg.
