I too have been looking for information on my family. my father's mother (Elsie Violette, formally Elsie Shultz, formally Elsie Cuilty) was the youngest of the litter. I believe her fathers name was Julio. Some of her siblings were Amelia and Enriqueta. She was born a Cuilty, but her mother died in childbirth, and Elsie was adopted by Henrietta Cuilty, who was married to Lee Shultz. Elsie's cousin, Martha Shultz, did lots of research, travelling to Spain, and Rome, looking through the batismis and marriages recorded by the church. She discovered a relation to Emperor Maximilien I of Mexico. I was wondering if anyone else had any more information on our relation to the Mexican throne, and the flee from Chihuahua into the US?
