Hello, I'm trying to get to grips with the Crawley family in London. My GGGG-gm was Elizabeth Crawley (b.~1791 Whitechapel - d.1831 Cripplegate), who married William Stretch. A Mary Crawley (b.~1791 Bloomsbury? - d.1871 Clapton) married Demetrius Rogers. Later in life, Mary lived with Elizabeth's descendants, so is probably a close relative. In her will Mary left money to several nieces who seem to be descended from Lydia Crawley (b.~1783 City of London - d.?) and Phoebe Crawley (b.~1799 Finsbury - d.1867 Newington). Phoebe's parents were John Crawley and Penelope Lunt. I have not yet identified parents of the others.

So I have four Crawleys who do appear to be related, probably as sisters or cousins. But I haven't yet been able to link them together. So if anyone else out there is working on the same family, I'd love to hear from you!
