Hi Gary, Wow I think this is fascinating! I just started doing this in May when my favorite Uncle passed away. I have the Roark family back to 1750 but was unable to find out any thing about my great grandmother but you sure have given me a lot of info. My mother was the baby of the family and really could not remember some of the elders names. Do you know why they added the extra "N" to the name? My mother was under the impression that Fannie had Indian blood in her? I know the Roarks did I wander if she has confused the two families. Do you have pictures? I have some of Fannie. I would love to share with you if I can figure out how to e-mail them. Love to hear from you and swap info. I may have to start a second volume to my mothers scrapbook. I am attempting to locate naturalization papers where applicable. I would like to trace back as far as I can. My e-mail address is Thank you so much for responding!
