Neal, you are correct on trying to meet with Mabel King and take her to the cemetery. I can give her directions, but I am scared that she will get lost. The only way to get to the cemetery today is to walk in to it. There is cotton planted in the field at present. I went on Saturday, the 18th, and they had just harrowed around the edge of the field. The ground was pretty soft and I was scared to drive around it. After someone drives around the field, or it comes a good enough rain to pack the soil, I will try again. You may also keep in mind that there has been a large rattlesnake killed nearby. That was last year when I talked to one of the persons that tended the nearby field. I will be best if she comes in the winter. Snakes will not be a problem and the foliage will be died down. This should allow you easier access to the site. Jacob Durden most likely has the oldest grave in the cemetery. His son, Henry, and Henry's wife are supposed to be buried there in unmarked graves. Ed Cannady
