Charles D. Bouton

Charles D. Bouton, 64, 109 Penrod Rd., Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tenn.

Mr. Bouton was born May 8, 1937, in Elizabethton, Tenn., a son of the late Irvin and Naomi Riddle Bouton, and had made his home in the Bristol area for the past several years.

He was a retired employee of Carter County Annex and Northeast Correctional Center and was a former cook at several country clubs. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel P. Bouton; children, Robert D. Bouton, Charles Allen Bouton, Loretta I. Bouton, William A. Bouton, Mr and Mrs. Lawrence (Kimberly) Bouton and Vickie Dianne Ford; sister, Sue Chapman; brothers, Henry Bouton, John Bouton, Michael Bouton and Ernest Bouton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Allen David officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tenn., with military honors conducted by the VFW Patton-Crosswhite Post 6975. E-mail condolences may be sent at www.weaverfuneralhome.net. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel.
