DELVIN "BUTCH" BOHAC, born July 24, 1947, died September 1, 2001, from complications following heart surgery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mathilda Bohac. He is survived by his sisters and brother, Gladys Burwell of Bacliff, Jim Bohac of Schulenburg, Patricia McCaleb and husband, Don of Bellaire; Arlene Jane Swenson and husband Richard of Houston; Darlene Serrato and husband Tony of Houston. He is also survived by 11 beloved nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was associated for many years with Horton Draperies. His passions were horse racing, baseball, Texas college football and music. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2001 from 5 to 9 P.M. in the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary at 7:30 P.M. Funeral Mass Wednesday September 5, 2001, 10:00 A.M. Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood, Houston, Texas. Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, in Weimar, Texas. Prior to the graveside service the family will have visitation Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at he Hubbard Funeral Home, 216 E. Jackson in Weimar, Texas 979 -725-8561. Pallbearers are Timothy, Mark, Scott and Brandon Bohac, Don McCaleb, Jr., Russ Burwell III, Anthony Serrato, Alan Brown, and Lonnie Key. Honorary Pallbearers are Leyton Bohac, Jarratt Kelso, Ron Sebesta, Ron Zernick, Bob True, Floyd Hendricks, Ralph Becker, Mark Neiser, Henry Wall, and Curby Ohnheiser. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Michael's Church Repair Fund or School Endowment Fund or your favorite charity.
