None of John's 4 boys were named Isaac which might have been expected if his father was Isaac - they were John, Charles Theophilus, George Stuckey and Thomas. That certainly doesn't rule it out though and it's the right time. I'll see if I can find what happened to that John and whether there is later sight of him in Cheltenham. Do you know if any Bliss wills exist for that area as I've found them really useful for proving relationships? The Stuckey Bliss entries, if they're after 1835, will come from George Stuckey Bliss, John's son by his second marriage who married in Cheltenham and gave several of his children the middle name of Stuckey. If they're earlier that would be very interesting!
