Francis (or Frank) Edward Bliss, divorced or widower of Celestine Leture, married a Miss Pancoast in the early 1880s NY. He is mentioned in a NY Times item as the brother in law of Archer F Pancoast. Mr and Mrs Bliss had one son George Pancoast Bliss born Jan 1885. I believe Mrs Bliss II died. Her widower and son moved to England where he married for the third time in 1890. One of three sons of this marriage was Sir Arthur Bliss who became Master of the Queens's Musick. Wife no III also died and in his old age F E Bliss married a war widow by whom he had a daughter Enid Frances Bliss.
F E Bliss was son of a NY merchant Elijah Bliss and was representative for John D Rockefeller in London. He and his family moved back to the US and they lived at Santa Barbara CA but George Pancoast Bliss and his half brothers became British citizens and remained here (Sir Arthur's older brother was killed in WWI).
Can anyone provide more information about the Pancoast or Leture marriages please.
