I (Jan Arterburn) have followed up on Edgar Bralley messages.
1, Court Record of Ann Cunningham there are only 2 surities William THOMAS and Peter ARTERBURN. 2. Prince William Co, Va court records for Peter Arterburn dated 2 Oct 1762 and 8 Feb 1763, Peter owed 10 pounds, 13 shillings, 3 farthings to John Glassford and 10 pounds, 18 shillings to William Carr. He was unable to pay debt, sheriff went to his place and the only thing of value he could find was an old hoe, which he took and sold. I think this is the same Peter from Charles Co, Maryland (the father of our Peter and William). 3. I got the court records from Charles Co, Maryland, 27 Feb 1748.Peter was 37 years old (born 1711), He had lived there for 11 or 12 years. His wife was deceased. He was testifying to the land boundries of John Gardiner, which was on the path to Mattawoman (a town still on road map). He appeared to be giving testimony in English.
