Hello Richard,
I am trying to find out if my Marie/Mary Arsenault, born 02 April 1867 in New Brunswick, Canada might be the Marie born 1867 to Pascal and Mary Doucet Arseneau. She married a James or John Downey/Downie and had 2 children that I know of, Mary Josephine Downie and Emma Ileen Downie. Mary Josephine is my great grandmother. Also, there is a Lilly Arsenault, born 29 April 1881. I don't know what relationship to Marie but I think that she is related somehow. Is this your Pascal and is the Reine DOUCET maybe a sister of Mary Doucet's come to look after the children after her death? Also, I think I have found where Pascal had moved into the city of Saint John with Mary, 2nd wife.

The following note applies to line 47:
'this line is struck out'
Is this Thomas a son by his first marriage? I think he is struck out on this page because he might be visiting and is listed somewhere else.

By 1901 my Marie/Mary Arsenault is widowed and remarried to a man named Thomas Wisted and living in Victoria Ward of Saint John City. Do you think she could be the 14 year old Marie in the 1881 census with Pascal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Terry Sale
