I am currently posting all my Apsley geneology on this site and making it available to anyone. I have several possibilities for your questions if Marmie has not already answered them, but none can be directly proved as far as I know. It is a process of elimination and conjecture based upon naming patterns, location, census material, etc. As none of the censuses contained the names of the children til 1850, one has to do further deducing based upon the information available. All I can absolutely conclude in the "mess" that presented itself in the later part of the 18th century into the first 20 years of the next is that we all are descended from the William Apsley who was married to first?an Anderson or Dulaney) and secondly Anne Roberts. He was probably the William born in 1719, who was probably the son of the William mentioned in Michael Miller's Will and along with his sister in early court records as orphans to be raised by Michael Miller.
