Hollister – Alban
The home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Crabbs was the scene of a quiet wedding last Saturday night at 9 o’clock, when Mr. Edward Hollister and Miss Jennie Alban, a niece of Mrs. Crabbs, were joined in wedlock, Rev. A. Axline of the Presbyterian church tying the nuptial knot.
After the ceremony the wedding party composed, besides the relatives of the contracting parties, Dr. and Mrs. Wetherby, Miss Jennie Parent, Miss Lizzie Pitney, Miss Flo Mahaffey and j. W. Morton, sat down to a sumptuous supper.
The bride has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Crabbs from childhood and is the center of a large circle of admiring friends and has won her position by her charming manners and sweet disposition.
Mr. Hollister has long been identified with the business interests of Arlington and has many staunch friends both in the business community and the social world and his strict business principles and frank disposition have given him a position in this locality with promising prospects.
The happy couple commence life under most favorable circumstances and is the blessing of long life falls to their lot they may reasonably expect the lions share of this worlds happiness and goods. The best wishes of a multitude of friends accompany them on the journey matrimonial and hope that the yoke of marriage will rest pleasantly on their shoulders.
