Hi to all,
I have in my tree one branch Marrè, maybe of Caregli:
The notices are few and a bit confused:
Giovanni Battista Marrè born in Genoa around 1705-1710, from "church Saint Vincent and Anastasio of Genoa" (a priest wrote), and I think the church is Caregli’s one.
After he came in Rompeggio, Val Nure (near Val d’Aveto – S. Stefano) with his sons: Giovanni Maria (married in 1749 with Maria Elisabetta Balderacchi b.1726), Domenico (married in 1748 with Giovanna Maria Balderacchi), Maria (born in 1751, very younger than his brothers).
There is also a Lorenzo Marrè married with Margherita Marrè. He had got one daughter, Caterina (b. 1744)… Only one time Caterina is named “Giovanni Battista’s daughter) so I don’t know if Lorenzo and Giovanni B. are the same person or two different or if there is a mistake in my stuff (is copied, not first hand).
After the marriage of Giovanni Maria and Domenico, they “disappeared” from my notices (but not Caterina and Maria Marrè), so I think that maybe they came back in Caregli or near there.
If someone had news about this branch, please write me in Italian, English or French at: email@example.com
