Josephine Jensen LAS VEGAS, NV - Josephine Jensen (nee Pinto) peacefully passed away Jan. 17 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Born Vitina Giuseppina Pinto in Rapone, Italy in 1918, she arrived in the U.S. Nov. 12, 1920 on the S.S. America from Naples. She was a Trenton/Ewing resident for 68 years before moving to Las Vegas to live with her daughter. She retired from the former New Jersey State Home for Girls as a cottage supervisor. She also taught meditation and hypnosis in the Ewing and Hamilton evening adult schools. Predeceased by her parents, and widow of the late Cedric V. Jensen, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara Suta and Beverly Laara Zeviar of Las Vegas; a son, Cedric V. Jensen Jr. and daughter-in-law Shirley of Trenton; and three grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Suta of Las Vegas and Rebecca Jensen Flanegan of Concord, CA.
