I recently started looking into my Swedish family history. I have run across a few questions.
1. I have a woman who according to all the household examinations and her death record she was born in Åsle but yet using ArkivDigital I found her birth in Tiarp. So why would that be? Are the 2 places somehow related to each other?
2. Again like before except with a marriage. It was stated in the household examination a couple was married in Kungslena but I found it in Varv. Are those two places related as well?
3. When it comes to writing places, I am not 100% sure how to write a Swedish vital record correctly.
In the USA, it would go: State College, Centre County, Pennsylvania, USA
Now in Sweden, I noticed that within "Counties" there are "Parishes" but within Parishes there are other places I am assuming are smaller. So to use a relative of mine that died in Tidaholm. He passed away in Tidaholm but more specifically in Björstorpsvägen. So would I write:
Björstorpsvägen, Tidaholm Parish, Skaraborg, Sweden or is it more common to just see:
Tidaholm Parish, Skaraborg, Sweden.
What exactly is Björstorpsvägen is it a city? Is it something else?
Any help on any of these questions is greatly appreciated!
