Found family album - Holmberg, Wilander, Norrby, Stockholm, and USA

Surnames: Holmberg, Wilander, Ottoson, Hendrickson
At a local yard sale I purchased an old album of picture postcards and old photos of families, weddings, etc., a photo of a US soldier, 2 Army patches, and a post-WW2 map all tied to the same families. The seller got these items from a storage locker sale and sold me what he had left from this family. There were a lot of WW2 military stuff he had already sold.

A number of the postacards were mailed and had personal messages on them -- all in Swedish which I don't read. However, a friend with Swedish heritage was able to help with names and locations and we were able to patch together an outline of the previous owner.

This album would appear to have belonged to Lilly Helmberg, b in 1894 to Erik Gustaf Helmberg and Charlotta Olsdotter. Most of the mailed cards were sent to Lilly in either Norrby, Havero or, later, in Stockholm, starting about 1910 until the early 20's. Lilly had a brother named Erik Leonard Helmberg who send cards placing him as a crewmember of the AB Nyberg (a sail and steam korvette), the HM Freja, and the Marta Maria.

Lilly married Eric Wilander (Erikson Wilander Ottoson on his death certificate; son of Otto Olson & Augusta Hendrickson). They emigrated to Seattle, Washington, USA, where they had a son, Henry (or Eric H.) in 1925. Eric, the father, worked as a carpenter but died in 1932. Lilly remained in Washington where she died in 1984. There are a few postcards mailed to them in Seattle and one dated 1934 to Henry after his father died.

Eric, the son, joined the US Army in 1943 and served in the 103rd Evacuation Hospital in Europe with Patton's 3rd Army.

If any one is related to this family and would like the album and other misc. pieces mentioned, I will gladly send the lot for $20 to cover my cost and the postage. I didn't buy it to make money -- I just wanted to see this treasure trove returned to it's family.
