I don't think Boye Boyeson Skeie (b. December 11, 1895 - ?) is your connection. He immigrated to Minnesota in 1915. His 1917 WWI draft card places him in Grand Forks, ND. At that time, he was single. According to the Vang bygdebok (Vol. A, page 773), Boye returned to Vang for a visit from 1919-1920, then later moved to Canada. But this Boye appears in the 1930 Itaska County, MN census, married to Gladys L. in about 1925.
This is probably his death information:
Date of Birth: na
Place of Birth: na
Mother Maiden Name: na
certid# 1941-MN-006380
Date of Death: 19 Dec 1941
County of Death: ITASCA

I think you should be looking at Boye's nephew, Boye Boyeson Skeie, born June 1, 1900. Here he is in the 1900 census with parents Marit Torsteinsdatter Gryte and Boye Boyeson [Kattevold] and his maternal grandparents:

In 1914 Boye and his parents returned to Skeie, a sub-farm at Kattevold farm. Boye (b. 1900) eventually took over the farm in 1953.

What's confusing is that the bygdebok has Boye marrying in 1930 to Marie Andersdatter Lysne (b. 1908). They had no children. But if you look at burial records, both Tina and Marie are listed in the same section of the cemetery with Boye (scroll to the bottom half of the page for results):

Tina's bdate matches the one you gave earlier.

Boye must have been married twice?

Good luck!!
