How would I go about getting a copy of such papers? Or am I not able to. I have an approx. year of Arrival from the Census. Would it only have the country, such as Poland, Russia or the actual town? We have Irish in our family and the place listed on a paper like this is Queensland. Which in itself doesn't help.I can't seem to find any way to find out the town they came from so I can contact the church or the Lithuanian archives.I seem to need the very information I am looking for, to get that information I want, crazy.
Small world....my sister lives in Glenwood Village,#296.
I asked her about the cemeteries and the catholic cemeteries are St. Isidores & St. John's named like the Church, like I thought, but wanted to be sure before I told you. But if his wife is Jewish and they were buried together than that would mean a Jewish Cemetery, I would have to check that out as we are all R.C. Catholic in my family and know little about other faiths and their church or cemeteries.Let me know .
I would think that Algerdas Senkus (family) would have used the same funeral home as his wife, most people do, unless the funeral home goes out of bussiness or changes owners.
Again, small world.
