Skagen Købstad (= town of Skagen) is in Skagen sogn, Horns herred, Hjørring amt, Denmark. This is the north tip of the Jutland peninsula (nord Jylland), an extraordinary and beautiful area of Denmark. Map:

Here is an explanation of some terms from the 1890 census Flemming posted:

FT-1890 = Folketællinger-1890 = Census-1890
Gift = married
Ugift = unmarried
Husfader = house father, i.e male head of household
Fisker = fisherman
Skagen is a place name. Last entry for each person is birthplace
Husmoder = house mother, i.e. female head of household
Barn = child
under 1 Aar. f. 5/9 89 = under 1 year født/born 5 Sep 1889

Træhandler - a job title. Wood handler or wood chopper?
Kommis - a job title. Sales assistant?

Terms from the 1840 census I posted:
hans kone = his wife
deres søn = their son
there is no daughter, but that would be deres datter
