It is now three and a half years since I placed my original message with no response so thought I would try again as there now seems to be many more people researching ancestors in Fiji. I am seeking information on John Thomas Robinson and his wife Fannie Madeline Robinson originally from Victoria, Australia. I believe they either owned or worked on a plantation (sugar? pineapple?) along the Rewa Rewa River and would have been there around 1918-19. They had a daughter Violet Jessie Robinson who went to NZ in 1919. Are there any records of European settlers in Fiji during this time which I could consult?
