According to the History of Wisconsin, Its Story and Biography, 1848-1913, Volume 4, Jacob Linsley Bean and Jane E McCullough had 10 children. At this time, I only know the names of three of those ten children: Mary Ella Bean Townsend, Captain Irving McCullough Bean and Lt. Colonel Sydney Alfred Bean.
Jacob L Bean was a prominent figure in Waukesha from 1846 when he settled in Waukesha (having moved from Milwaukee) until his death in 1855. Among Jacob's notable biographical details are: 1) the projection and construction of railway lines including the Milwaukee & LaCrosse Railroad company of which he became president; and 2) his acquisition of principal interest in Northwestern Iron Co. (1854) and involvement in mining and smelting operations.
I am hoping that someone may have access to historical documents that identify any of his other children.
