I am not related just trying to help, do you know the year Delos's mother died? I found this article but not sure if it is him or not?

DELOS PIERCE attended the funeral of
his aged mother, who died at Holly, N.
Y., last Thursday.

but then found this one in Wisconsin
Janesville Daily Gazette January 5, 1922, page 8
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grosbeck (hard to read could be Grosbeek)
called at the home of the former's
uncle, Delos Pierce, north Walworth, Sunday.

AND then found this obit but not sure if I am on the right path or not..??

John D. Pierce
Pierce, 83, life resident of Walworth
County and member of the Masonic
Lodge for 60 years, died early Sunday
morning in Walworth Nursing
Home after a long illness. The son
of Mr. and Mrs. Delos Pierce, he
was born in Walworth, July 10,
1871. Mr. Pierce was married to
Inez Van Dreser, Feb. 23,1898. She
preceded him in death.
Mr. Pierce farmed in the Walworth
area and later was a caretaker
on estates on Lake Geneva
and Delavan Lake. He was a
charter member of Walworth Masonic
Lodge, No. 286 and prior to
that was affiliated with Delavan
Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are one son, Harold
Pierce, Williams Bay; a daughter,
Mrs. Fred Belland, Walworth; two
children, Mrs. Charles Woods,
Richmond, Ill., and Miss Marjorie
Pierce, Williams Bay; two great-grandsons,
Robert and John Woods.
Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in Walworth Funeral
Home, the Rev.Harold Gronseth
officiating. Burial will be In Walworth
Cemetery. Friends may call
at the funeral home.
