Obit for Johnny Lindquist's natural father. Known as William Lindquist during his trial in Chicago 1972.

WEST PEORIA -- Jimmy W. "Hot Dog" Lindquist, 57, of 2412 W. Callender Ave. died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at OSF

Saint Francis Medical Center.

Born March 23, 1941, in Chicago to William James and Kathryn Slabas Lindquist, he married Irene M. Sinnott on Feb. 3, 1963, in Chicago. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Angielina Lindquist of Peoria, Julia Lindquist of Romeoville and Jane Lindquist of Chicago; two sons, Jimmy of Chicago and Joseph of Olympia Fields; one grandson; one brother, Arthur of Chicago; and three sisters, Alice Kobasyski of Atlanta, Ga., Patricia Strong of Chicago and Helen Prince of the state of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Lindquist.

He worked as a grounds keeper for the Catholic Cemetery Association for 18 years. He was active in Cursillo.

He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Peoria and helped with its Share program.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at his church, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. Vandennis Nguyen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Davison-Fulton Western Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to any charity.
