Gladys M. Ramlet
Madison, Gladys M. Ramlet, age 92, died on Sunday, March 16, 1997 at Methodist Health Center in Madison.
The former Gladys Muriel Chapman was born on Sept. 22, 1904, in Spring Valley, WI, the daughter of Fred and Bertha Chapman. Gladys was united in marriage to Ted Ramlet on Apr. 4, 1923 in Spring Valley, WI. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Menomonie, WI. She had resided in Madison for the past ten years. She is survived by her daughters, Lois Steensrud of Madison; five granddaughters, Cheryl (Rick) Wagner of DeForest, Debbie (Dennis) Sachs of Oregon, Pamela (Jerry) Schkirkie of McFarland, Cindy (Nathan) Phillips of Madison and Laurie Steensrud of Madison; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Alberta Bauerkemper of Red Wing, MN, a brother, Irvin (Dorothy) Chapman of Red Wing, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband , son and four brothers.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 1997, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Menomonie, WI, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. [Interment at Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Lake, WI.
