Agnes G. Jacobson
Agnes G. Jacobson was born to William and Augusta Timm on May 12, 1905 in the township of Cady, St. Croix Co., WI. She was baptized and confirmed at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Cady.
In 1925 she moved with her parents to Spring Valley. On June 22, 1927, she was united in marriage to Henry Jacobson. They made their home on the Jacobson farm for eight years. In 1935 they moved to their present farm where she resided until the time of her death.
On March 1 she entered Luther Hospital for tests. She returned home for approximately two weeks. She re-entered the hospital on March 21 and on March 23 she suffered a severe brain hemorrhage, from which she never regained consciousness. Death came on Sunday morning March 27.
She leaves to mourn her departure: Her husband, Henry; one son, James and daughter-in-law, Martha of Turtle Lake, WI; five brothers, George and William of Baldwin, WI., Frank, Ervin and Bennie of Cady Township; three sisters, Hannah, (Mrs Clarence Jacobson) of Cady Township; Louise (Mrs. Arthur Dahms) of Cady Township, and Gertrude, (Mrs. Gerhart Thompson) of Deer Park, WI.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Augusta, and a brother, Herbert.
She was laid to rest in the Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery March 29, 1966 after funeral services held in the Spring Lake Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ronald Leslie officiating.
