Katharina Louise Hanson age 73, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1977, at Southdale Fairview Hospital in Edina, Minn.
She was born March 7, 1903, to the late Wilhelm and Elizabeth Seigert at Spring Valley, Wis. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church.On Aug.10, 1926, she was united in marriage to Wilhelm Hanson of Spring Lake Township, in Minneapolis, Minn., where they have since lived.
This union was blessed with a family of one daughter, Jean (Mrs. Douglas Swanson) and one son, Marlo, both of Bloomington, Minn.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers: Herman, Emil, Andrew and William.
Survivors include: Her husband, Wilhelm; her two children; one sister, Annie (Mrs. Alfred Hanson) and one brother, Otto Seigert, both of Spring Valley, Wis.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Friday with funeral services Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Keehr Funeral home in Spring Valley. Rev. T. Hans Olson officiated. Mrs. Donald E. Anderson was the soloist.
Burial was in the Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Valley, Wis. Pallbearers were: Steven Swanson, David Swanson, Richard Seigert, Robert Seigert, Gerhart Hanson and LeRoy Russell.
