Loretta, you're confusing me with another researcher who terminated his online research service because his expenditures were exceeding his research income.

Since you used to live in the area, you'd be familiar with the Milwaukee Public Library, and they've had an online library catalog for many years. Check the Salzmann Library online catalog too. When you find a title, try using WorldCat, or ask a local librarian for help.

You posted a date range of 1905-1914 for this couple. If you're using (I'm using Rootsweb), you'll already have discovered they have Wisconsin's 1905 State Census, as well as the US Federal 1910 Census. Otherwise, check with your local public library or nearest FHL for free access. Your local library may have all sorts of national subscription sites that can be helpful for your research.
