Milwaukeean Is Beer Gang Victim
Milwaukee-(AP)-- An echo of the Chicago beer war reverberated through west side Milwaukee early this morning and Tony Kuzmanovich, 43, restaurant proprietor, lay dead, his body riddled by shotgun slugs.
According to information which police were able to obtain, Kuzmanovich, who is reputed to have made more than $200,000 since prohibition, was riding with his wife in his high powered automobile, when a side-curtain automobile bearing Illinois license forced theKuzmanovich car to the curb. One of the three men in the Illinois car got out, fired the shotgun charge and the trio sped away.
Kuzmanovich recently completed a six months' term for prohibition law violation. He was a proprietor of the Tekay restaurant.
