OBITUARY printed in the Wausau Daily Herald, Thursday, September 24, 1998.

Regina A. Bornheimer, 83, R264 Lovers Lane, Athens, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1998, in Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Center Wausau Hospital.

Regina was born March 19, 1915, in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Anton and Anna (Feltzkowski) Brzezinski. She married Leo Bornheimer on Aug. 1, 1933, in the town of Cassel. Leo died Feb. 12, 1989.

Survivors include four daughter, Eileen Bornheimer, Crestwood, Ill., Cecelia (Duane) Feltzkowski, Athens, Audrey (Dale) Hoffmann, Edgar, and Linda (Rick) Coe, Marathon; eight sons, Bernard (Pat) Bornheimer, Belvidere, Ill., Norman (Phyllis) Bornheimer, Schofield, Leo (Jean) Bornheimer, Marathon, Leonard Bornheimer, Edgar, Harvey (Ione) Bornheimer, Athens, James (Carolyn) Bornheimer, Wausau, and Dennis (Connie) Bornheimer, Wausau; 31 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ann Egener, Startford, Della (Edwin) Nowak, Hewitt, and Rose (Mike) Knetter, Edgar; and two brothers Albert (Anna) Brzezinski, Edgar, and Steve (Loretta) Brzezinski, Tomahawk. Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; five brothers, Mike, Adam, Edward, John and Anton Brzezinski; two sisters, Bena Brodjeski and Martha Knetter; three grandsons, Scott Bornheimer, Richard Coe Jr., and Allen Coe; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 1998, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Randy E. Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Poniatowski. Visitation will be at Kraemer Funeral Home in Edgar.
