Albert C. Sampson, 69, resident of the city for many years, pensioned, North Western road bridge foreman, died at 5 a.m. today at his home, 211 Henning street. He had been confined to his home for the last two months.
He was born April 19, 1861, in Calumet county, the son of Clark and Elizabeth Sampson. When 12 years old he moved with his family to this city. Mr. Sampson was a bridge foremen in the Senior R. and B. department of the North Western road. He began work in 1884 and for five years was on the Peninsular division, aiding in the installation of the ore docks at Escanaba. He was later transferred to the North Wisconsin division.
Mr. Sampson wa pensioned six years ago after 10 years of service.
He was married in 1901 to Miss Frances Foshay in this city, who with three children. Muriel, Dorothy and Keeville, survives. Mr. Sampson was a member of the First Baptist church.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday from the residence with the Rev. Morgan D. Williams, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial will be at Rienzi cemetery.

SAMPSON-Funeral services for Albert C. Sampson, were held Sunday at 1 p.m. from the residence 211 Henning street with the Rev. Morgan Williams officiating. Burial was in Rienzi cemetery. Pallbearere were H. Meyer, G. Rothe, C. Grohling, C. Bassett, C. Flanders and W. Schref.
Out-of-town persons attending were Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Everest of Calumetville, Mr. and Mrs. David Keevil and Harold Keevil of Oshkosh and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sommers and Mr. and Mrs. George Heiden of Milwaukee.
