Christof Schultz
Christof Schultz, resident on the northern border of Hustisford Village, fell from his chair and died suddenly due to a stroke at 10 o'clock on Friday evening as he wound up the clock. He was 69 years, 2 months and 16 days old and leaves behind his wife and 6 daughters, all of whom except the youngest, Miss Anna Schultz, are married. Mr. Schultz was born on the Polish border in 1835, came alone to America as a young man in 1860 and went straight to Town Hustisford where he did farm work for the first few years. His first wife, whom he married in 1865, died in 1869, and that same year he married his second wife, born Wilhelmine Schultz. By his first wife he had 2 daughters, who are married to Ludwig Kraut of Clintonville, Wis. and Georg Herte of Hustisford. With his second wife he had four daughters and two sons; the sons died when children. Of these four daughters, 3 are married, namely: Bertha to Hermann Seegert in Hustisford, Ida to Helmuth Seegert and Marie, who is married to Wilhelm Graunke of Town Hustisford. The funeral is this afternoon in the churchyard in Hustisford.
