I'm trying to find out what happened to Andrew Hansen and his wife Harriet (Hattie) Joslin Hansen. In 1885 Andrew owned A. Hansen & co. Hardware, Paints and Oils. It was in Cambridge and his partners were O. Wigdale and Thomas Overson. I have them in the 1880 census and I have a correspondence on the company stationary dated 1885 but I cannot find hide nor hair of them after that.
Andrew was born about 1854 in Canada - his parents were Norwegian.
Harriet was born about 1854 in Canada - her parents were Ephraim Joslin and Elizabeth Hopkins.
Both previously lived and were married (1877) in Green County.
In 1880 Harriet's sister Kitty (Katherine) Joslin b. about 1862 in Wisconsin was living with them.......she also disappears.
This has been a brick wall for me for many years. Lynn
